New Plymouth Little Theatre proudly presents the New Zealand amateur premiere of
The Full Monty
A play by Simon Beaufoy
Directed by John Lawson
Based on the smash-hit film of the same name, this rip-roaring show is an absolute must-see.
The famous story follows six out of work steelworkers as they have a crack at getting their gear off for cash. The six mates bare their bodies (and sometimes their hearts) as they set out to make money and repair relationships.
This hilarious and heartfelt play is a full-frontal and feel-good night out.

If you prompt when they don’t want it – you are wrong. If you don’t prompt when they do want it – you are wrong. And if you do the job perfectly no one takes any notice of you and no one knows you are there, at all.
Get your glad rags on because our annual awards night is back!
The Toscars celebrate the truly talented people who create the amazing shows you see on stage at Little Theatre.
We had two wonderful shows last year – Enchanted April by Matthew Barber, directed by Vivienne Baty and A Kick in the Baubles by Gordon Steel, directed by Christine King.
COVID-19 meant we only had two shows last year, but when you consider that most theatres in the world had none, well we’re pretty proud of what our teams achieved.
Adjudicated by Nicci Smith, the 2020 Toscars will feature our yearly awards, as well as entertainment, speeches and some lovely food.
The Toscars are on Saturday May 1 at 7.30pm and tickets are strictly limited. Please RSVP as soon as possible to Christine King on c.king1@xtra.co.nz
