Hilda’s Yard Playwright

In 1980 a friend asked Norm Foster to go to an audition with him. He had never seen a play before, but fell in love with theatre right then and there, and two years later he penned his first play. Since then he has produced over 55 plays, and has been the most produced playwright in Canada for the past 20 years.
Foster’s plays are known mainly for their comedic qualities, but they are not without their serious moments as well. He likes to write stories that touch an audience’s heart as well as their funnybone!
Hilda’s Yard is Foster at his best. The comedy grows naturally from his carefully drawn characters – its unexpected, hectic, hilarious and poignant, leaving the audience feeling uplifted, and maybe just a little bit better about the world!
Little Theatre presents HILDA’S YARD by Norm Foster, and Directed by Sharred Read from 9-20th July 2024. Earlybird Tickets are on sale now! Head to: https://www.iticket.co.nz/events/2024/jul/hildas-yard
