The New Plymouth Little Theatre community is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our treasured life member, Sylvia May.
Sylvia arrived in New Plymouth from England in the 1950’s as a high school student and became a member of our Little Theatre in her teens.
Since then, Sylvia has acted, and worked backstage, in many plays and directed even more. In addition to this Sylvia served our theatre for many years as a committee member; holding the role of President for four of those.
She will always be remembered for her talent, sense of humour, creativity, wisdom, and kindness.
Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Andy, her extended family and loved ones.
Rest in peace and love Sylvia.
