It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the passing of one of our cherished New Plymouth Little Theatre whānau, Tony Pearce.Tony was the kind of person who made every room warmer just by being there. His kindness, his quick smile, and his legendary dad jokes will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. He was always the first to offer a helping hand, always supportive, and genuinely interested in the people around him.
Many of us have special memories of crossing paths with Tony at shows and events — moments where his friendly hello and genuine interest made us feel seen and valued. His love for his wife and whānau was evident to all, and it’s hard to imagine our community without his friendly presence.
Our hearts are with Tony’s whānau during this difficult time. He will be deeply missed, but we will hold onto the warmth, laughter, and care that he brought to our lives.
Rest peacefully, Tony.
