Four senior ladies are long-time residents of Beach Haven, a small, old- style, traditional, privately owned retirement home. They’re under pressure from a corporate aged-care retirement village developer; Shady Glades, with the underhanded support of Councillor Leonard. The owner and residents have to raise money to stave off the developers to ensure their home has a future. Facing imminent closure, the residents try to help by organising various fundraising efforts, but even with the help of a TV personality they still don’t have quite enough. In the end, the ladies come up with another idea to boost revenue with hilarious consequences.
